What NOT to wear...

Despite these glorious puffy sleeves, Carolyn regrets to inform you all that she will not be wearing this wedding dress. Although, this hairstyle is still an option. Hmmm...

Booking a Hotel in Breckenridge

In preparation for the wedding, we wanted to give you all some helpful info in addition to what you received in your invitation. The ceremony will be held in a lodge house in Blue River, just outside of Breckenridge. Our parents, siblings and attendants will be joining us in the house for the weekend.

Space in the house is very limited so we wanted to point all of our other guests to options in the Breckenridge area for lodging. We checked out www.hotels.com and found a great variety of lodging options for the weekend of February 6-8. They list everything Best Western to condos to the Hyatt Regal. (Note: Some towns very close by include Dillion, Silverthorne, Frisco and Keystone.)

If any families want to pitch in and get a multi-bedroom condo, you might be able to find even more great options but we'll leave that up to you to decide. Let us know if you need any more help finding a place for the weekend.

We can't wait to see you in Blue River!

Save the Date

Some of you have asked, "When is the big day?" Here is the answer:

We are tying the knot on February 8, 2009! We will be having an very small ceremony in Breckenridge, Colorado. We are really excited to be exchanging vows surrounded by our family and a few close friends.

However, there are many people in our lives that we cherish! I wish there was a way to have an intimate ceremony and yet invite all the people we call community. So, to have the opportunity to celebrate with all those we love, we will be having a reception in Denver several weeks after the wedding, on April 4, 2009.

Invitations to both the ceremony (Feb 8) and the reception (Apr 4) will follow by mail. We will also post information about both shin-digs in this blog.

Thank you to all who have taken a few moments to ask about our big day! We feel quite loved.

Welcome to the wedding website!

We hope to keep you up-to-date with the wedding details from this website. Check back as we add more info weekly.
